In a
key leadership shift at Andritz AG, Jarno Nymark steps into a pivotal role on
the Executive Board from October 1, 2023. As Joachim Schönbeck refines his
focus on his CEO responsibilities and with the imminent retirement of Humbert
Köfler, Nymark's tenure heralds an optimistic phase for the company.
Andritz AG has announced a pivotal change in its Executive Board. As of October 1, 2023, the responsibility for the Pulp & Paper Business Area will be under the guidance of Jarno Nymark. This transition follows Joachim Schönbeck's decision to dedicate himself exclusively to his CEO duties and the retirement of Humbert Köfler after a commendable 36 years of service.
Currently holding the position of Senior VP and Global Division Manager for Fiber Technologies since 2022, Nymark is no stranger to leadership. His career with Andritz spans multiple global managerial stints in countries like Finland, Germany, and China.
Joachim Schönbeck, the President and CEO of Andritz, expressed his enthusiasm for Nymark's appointment. He stated, "Jarno has been a core part of the Andritz family throughout his career. His vast global experience within the company places him in an ideal position to spearhead our pulp & paper sector." Schönbeck also extended his gratitude towards Köfler for his unwavering commitment and invaluable contributions to the Andritz Group over the years.
