Sindirações, the National Union of the Animal Feed Industry, recently hosted its fourth biennial Workshop of Animal Feed Laboratories in Valinhos, Brazil, attracting over 160 professionals. The event centered on enhancing laboratory practices, emphasizing the importance of quality improvement, analytical innovation, and seamless communication within laboratories.

Key takeaways included the necessity of refining mixing and sampling procedures for accurate results, analyzing various sample matrices, and leveraging modern techniques like portable Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (NIR) and Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS). The workshop's success, supported by industry partners, highlighted the commitment to addressing emerging demands. CEO Ariovaldo Zani expressed satisfaction and outlined plans to delve deeper into identified needs in the next edition scheduled for 2025.
