Anton Paar has established a wholly owned subsidiary in Chile, strengthening its regional presence and expanding access to analytical instrumentation and technical support across South America. The new subsidiary became operational at the start of 2026 and is expected to improve local service, sales, and customer proximity for agri-food, feed, and raw-material analysis markets. With this move, Anton Paar increases its global network to 40 subsidiaries worldwide.

Anton Paar Chile, headquartered in Santiago de Chile, will oversee sales, service, and technical support activities in the local market. The new subsidiary marks Anton Paar’s fifth direct presence in South America and brings the company’s total number of subsidiaries in the Americas to eight as of 2026, reinforcing its long-term regional strategy.

The expansion aims to improve responsiveness to customer needs by providing closer technical assistance and application support. Yerko Tobar has been appointed General Manager of Anton Paar Chile. He previously served as a product manager for Anton Paar solutions and later led the company’s former distribution partner in Chile. “Being close to the market is essential to respond quickly and effectively to our customers’ needs,” Tobar said.

By strengthening its footprint in Chile, Anton Paar seeks to enhance support for laboratories and industrial users requiring precise analytical solutions across agri-food and feed-related applications.

Anton Paar instruments are widely used in quality control and material characterization across food, feed, and agricultural value chains, supporting accuracy, compliance, and process optimization.
