Can you introduce yourself to our readers?

I have been working professionally in the field of animal nutrition and feed additives for over 10 years. This is my 8th year at İntegro, where I currently serve as the Sales Manager. I hold a master’s degree in animal nutrition, which has provided me with expertise in this area. My mission has always been to develop innovative solutions for the industry while creating strategies to meet the nutritional needs of large and small ruminants.

Pak Group’s venture into the agriculture and livestock sector began in 2007 with the establishment of İntegro. What is the primary mission of İntegro, and how has it made a difference in this field?

Founded in 2007, İntegro was established to bring Pak Group’s half-century of scientific expertise in biotechnology and fermentation to the agriculture and livestock industry. This extensive experience shaped our mission to introduce innovative solutions to the feed and feed additives sector. Operating out of our production facilities in İzmit, we maintain high standards of production certified by GMP+, HACCP, Halal, and ISO. Our core mission has been to develop products that support animal health, enhance performance, and offer sustainable and economical solutions for producers. Through our innovative approaches, we have introduced products that efficiently meet the nutritional needs of animals while distinguishing ourselves in the sector with fermentation-based technologies. By developing products tailored to local conditions, we have succeeded in creating added value for both Turkish producers and international markets.

İntegro offers a broad range of products, including silage additives, ruminant, and poultry feed additives. Could you talk about the contributions of your products to Turkey’s agriculture and livestock sector and the advantages they provide to producers?

Our silage additives improve the fermentation process of silage, enhancing its nutritional quality and ensuring that these nutrients are preserved throughout the year. The silages of roughage such as corn, grass, and alfalfa, treated with our silage additives (inoculants), retain their harvest freshness, reduce storage losses, preserve nutritional value, and maintain aerobic stability throughout the year without deterioration. As a result, animals fed with these silages benefit from higher-quality feed, leading to improved performance.

For the ruminant and poultry sectors, our feed additives support recovery from feeding and environment-related issues. They strengthen the immune system, boosting resistance to diseases, which provides producers with healthier and more productive animals. Our products help maintain the necessary balance of vitamins and minerals in animals, optimizing growth performance as well as meat, milk, and offspring production. High-quality feed additives allow animals to derive more benefit from their feed. Additionally, we offer toxin-binding products that minimize the damage caused by toxins from feed or the environment. This helps prevent losses in productivity and feeding, reducing costs for producers while increasing profitability. İntegro's products are formulated with environmentally friendly approaches. Our strategies support sustainable agricultural practices and ensure that resources are used more efficiently in the livestock sector.

ecoMass® stands out with its patented production process. How was it developed, and what is the story behind its development?

ecoMass® was developed through extensive research by scientists and animal nutrition experts in collaboration with our R&D department. After years of work in the field of animal nutrition and the compound feed industry, the goal was to meet the protein requirements of compound feeds produced in factories or TMR (Total Mixed Rations) prepared on farms using alternative sources. These efforts culminated in ecoMass®, a product resulting from a series of processes in our facilities that combine the relevant components into an optimal formulation designed to enhance the performance of animals consuming the feed.

What are the biotechnological advantages and patented process features of ecoMass® that set it apart in the industry? How does it provide sustainability and economic improvements for feed producers and farms?

ecoMass® is produced through a unique patented process that enhances the digestibility and nutritional value of its protein components while maximizing the digestibility and efficacy of other nutrients. In addition, our environmentally friendly production approach supports a sustainable manufacturing model.

Our product has been tested multiple times through various trials conducted at reputable universities and research institutions in Europe and Turkey, focusing on dairy and beef cattle groups. These tests aim to validate the effectiveness and reliability of ecoMass®, analyzing and assessing the animals’ performance, health, and feed intake.  ecoMass® is an effective solution for meeting the nutritional needs of ruminant animals with its high-quality protein content. It provides a critical advantage, particularly for dairy cattle in lactation and other high-performing animals.

The formulation of the product helps optimize the digestive system’s efficiency. By enhancing nutrient digestibility, it supports improved metabolic health while promoting increased productivity.

ecoMass® offers a more cost-effective alternative compared to traditional protein sources. This helps feed manufacturers and farms reduce overall costs, thereby increasing profitability. The product effectively meets the nutritional needs of animals with its high-quality protein content.

ecoMass® reduces uncertainties in feed raw material supply. As a single source, it simplifies processes by minimizing the need for producers to combine different protein sources from various suppliers. WE ENHANCE BOTH DRY MATTER INTAKE AND FEED CONVERSION RATE

Can you share specific examples of ecoMass®’s impact on farm performance?

It has been proven* that animals fed with feeds containing ecoMass® have higher dry matter intake and ruminal crude protein degradation rates compared to those fed with standard feeds. Additionally, dairy cows show increased milk yield when ecoMass® is included in their diet.

For beef cattle, results indicate greater weight gain and higher carcass yield**. Feed preference evaluation tests also reveal that feeds containing ecoMass® are more favored by animals*, demonstrating improved palatability and aroma in compound feeds formulated with ecoMass®.
